Although significant clearance has been reported with just one treatment, it is suggested that an acne light pulsed treatment is applied every four weeks when dealing with severe inflammatory acne until the condition is well controlled.  Routine maintenance along with a microdermabrasion treatment specific for acne prone is highly suggested.
