Do we need them? Yes
 
Why? To help correctly prepare your skin to receive maximum nutrients.
 
How? They keep the pores open allowing you to then apply serum/moisturizer.
 
What should toners not contain?  Alcohol or pure witch hazel as both dry out the skin resulting in oily skin to overcompensate and produce even more oil.  Note witch hazel from the drug store contains alcohol.  Witch hazel in the Mooi By Kristen Lee products is floral water that has been steam distilled NOT ALCOHOL. 
 
How to Apply? It’s up to you if you prefer to spritz or wipe, but product absorbs better into the skin when the skin is moist so turning your wipe into a dab may be more effective.
